CONFIRMED: Fabrizio Romano confirms Wolves are closing in on first January signing with club now in advanced stages to seal loan+buy option deal for PSG star who is Mario Lemina’s brother

Wolves are reportedly now very close to signing Noha Lemina from Paris Saint-Germain.

Things have developed quickly over the past 24 hours and the younger brother of Mario Lemina appears to be Molineux-bound.

There were tentative reports of interest in the player yesterday afternoon.

By last night, all the big publications were reporting on the interest from Wolves and at this point, it looks more like a deal will happen than not.

It is always worth looking to see what Fabrizio Romano has said about a particular transfer story to see how close it is.

The Italian is the most renowned journalist around and one of the most reliable, and last night he gave an update on the Lemina to Wolves story.

He said on X: “Wolves are advancing in talks to sign Mario Lemina’s brother Noha from Paris Saint-Germain. Agreement at final stages as Lemina’s loan to Sampdoria will be terminated soon. Deal likely to include an option to buy clause.”

At this stage, there isn’t any mention of how much that option to buy clause would be.

According to the Express & Star, Wolves are hopeful of completing a deal and it is likely that if he came in, he would train with the first-team, although he probably wouldn’t make an impact in the Premier League straight away.

It looks as though Wolves will indeed sign Noha and this is definitely an interesting move.

Last term, Noha impressed for PSG’s U19 side, scoring four goals and making one assist in five Youth League games.

The attacking midfielder seems to have a lot of promise, but his loan move to Sampdoria has not worked out for one reason or another and now PSG are facilitating him a fresh move.

It will be good for Noha to be at the same club as Mario, considering what the family has been through recently and hopefully the current Wolves midfield general will be able to help him in the transition period, assuming this goes through as expected.
