Report: West Ham eyeing move to sign highly talented Leeds attacker for £15million this summer, player open to move with PL relegation looming at Elland road
West Ham United reportedly now want to sign Leeds United ace Jack Harrison this summer.
According to a report from the Sun, Leeds winger Jack Harrison is on the radar of West Ham ahead of the summer transfer window.
Hammers boss David Moyes needs to bolster his attacking wide areas at the London Stadium this summer. He needs to bring in more adequate competition from Said Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen on either wing.
And it seems as though the West Ham manager could go shopping in the Premier League when the summer transfer window opens…
According to the Sun, Hammers boss David Moyes is targeting moves for Premier League proven players this summer.
And the Leeds star is apparently one of the names on the 60-year-old Scot’s list.
Harrison joined Leeds on a permanent £15 million deal from Manchester City in the summer of 2021 (Manchester Evening News), having impressed at Elland Road during three previous loan spells.
Ex-Leeds striker Noel When once described the talented left-footed winger as an ‘unreal’ player (Football Insider).
The former Manchester City ace has been one of the few bright sparks for Leeds during what has been a terrible campaign for them, with five goals and 10 assists in 39 games to his name (Transfermarkt).
Harrison has skill and trickery in abundance, an impressive turn of pace and a really good cross on him as well. He can play on either wing, and that versatility would definitely appeal to Moyes.
If West Ham sign Jack Harrison this summer, and don’t have to pay a ridiculously high transfer fee, I will be more than happy.
