Report: Good news for Nottingham Forest as PL rivals are now ready to sell Steve Cooper top defensive target this summer
Everton are ready to accept an offer for Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United target Mason Holgate this summer, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Holgate was a bit part player at Everton last season and after the starting first four Premier League games, he made just four more appearances for the rest of the campaign.
The defender is not part of Sean Dyche’s plans going forward and the club are open to offers for him this summer.
Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United are amongst the clubs who are believed to be interested in signing Holgate.
Everton are likely to prefer to sell him, but are open to offers to loan him out as well this summer.
He has two years left on his contract at Everton but it seems he has no future at Goodison Park moving forward.
The Toffees are waiting for offers to land on their table as they look to ship him out in the current transfer window.
It remains to be seen whether any of his suitors table a suitable offer for Holgate in the coming weeks and months.
