Report: Everton now set to launch £16million bid for Leeds United attacker this summer as player’s release clause emerges

Everton set sights on Leeds United winger
Football Insider claims Everton have set their sights on a £16million move for Leeds United winger Jack Harrison, with a release clause of that value reportedly in his contract.

The Toffees are among a number of teams interested in his services this summer following relegation to the Championship.

Harrison came close to joining Leicester City in January, only for the club to pull the plug on the move. The 26-year-old would sign a new deal with Leeds in April, extending his stay at the club until 2028.

Sean Dyche is keen to add more firepower to his attack and has identified Harrison as a target with the club now preparing to launch a bid worth up to £16million for the Englishman.

The Former Manchester City is a quality player who would certainly add more creativity and unpredictability to the blues attack should he join.

The Toffees struggles in front of goals last season was clear for all to see with the club needing more spark in front of goal.

While Harrison is not a prolific goalscorer, the winger will offer a different dimension to the Blues attack and would certainly be a good addition if the Meyerside club would want to avoid another relegation battle next season.

The Blues are also said to be keen on Wilfried Gnonto. The report claims a double swoop, for Harrison and Gnonto may not be off the cards, but the Toffees must comply with FFP.
