Report: Aston Villa put up duo for sale this summer with both players not part of Unai Emery future plans at Villa Park
Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery has identified Marvelous Nakamba and Morgan Sanson as surplus to his team and will be looking to move them both on this transfer window, according to The Athletic.
The duo spent last season out on loan at Luton Town and RC Strasbourg respectively as they have found themselves out of favour at Villa Park.
They could now be set for a permanent exit from the club this summer having been deemed surplus to requirements by Unai Emery who does not view them as part of his plans going forward at the club.
With plenty of names linked with a move to Villa Park this summer, the club will also need to free up space by selling as many unwanted players as they can, without depleting squad depth, in order to gather up important funds.
