???????? Aston Villa have submitted an improved, significant new offer to Middlesbrough for Morgan Rogers.

Rogers remains Aston Villa’s and Unai Emery’s priority for January window.

Rogers sees this as a huge opportunity and wants #AVFC move.

Rogers has been thoroughly impressive for Boro under Michael Carrick, with 32 appearances, six goals and nine assists this term.

His latest goal contribution came on Saturday, registering an assist to help the Teesside outfit to a 1-1 draw with Rotherham.

There’s certainly scope for Villa to bolster their ranks and bring in more players to aid their pursuit of silverware this season.

Boro seem to be playing hardball over Rogers’ signature, and it’s understandable, as they’re just three points off the Championship playoffs. However, the Villans look determined to get a move for the player over the line as they look to add the finishing touches to a strong squad this term.

Villa have enjoyed a superb first half of the season, sitting third in the Premier League table, and will fancy their chances of a top-four finish. In addition, Emery’s charges are in the latter stages of the Europa Conference League and in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

It’s an amazing opportunity for Rogers, who’d not only go up into the Premier League right away, but he’d be joining a team with real potential for silverware.
