EXCLUSIVE: £11m Crystal Palace midfielder now desperately looking to leave Selhurst Park alongside Sam Johnstone this summer following frustration over lack of opportunities & gametime

Crystal Palace could soon lose several important players as we approach the final two weeks of the summer transfer window.

Michael Olise has already departed in a £50.8m move to Bayern Munich, while Newcastle are currently in advanced talks to take Marc Guehi away from Selhurst Park. Furthermore, Sam Johnstone is also keen to leave SE25 after Oliver Glasner informed the England international that Dean Henderson will remain his No.1 in south London.

Naouirou Ahamada wants Crystal Palace exit
A story from The Athletic now states that Naouirou Ahamada is keen to leave Crystal Palace. The 22-year-old is believed to be unsettled at Selhurst Park, having endured a miserable time with the Eagles since his £10.5m move from VfB Stuttgart back in January 2023.

The Athletic do not mention whether there is interest in the Frenchman, although it is made clear that he would like to depart if an opportunity were to arise elsewhere.

For Ahamada to not have made a single Premier League start in 18 months is incredibly disappointing, especially as the man from Marseille was seriously impressing for VfB Stuttgart before Dougie Freedman secured his signature.

People at VfB Stuttgart were even said to be shocked that Crystal Palace decided against loaning Ahamada back after signing him in January 2023 – in truth, that should have been a no brainer of a move. Even in spite of his lack of game time, Crystal Palace have never even seemed close to finding a loan move elsewhere for central midfielder, who has effectively had almost two years of his career wasted.

Hopefully, Freedman can find Ahamada a loan move before deadline day, if Glasner has no intention of using him in the first-team this season.
