CONFIRMED: West Ham now set to complete Fourth summer signing as Fabrizio Romano confirms Hammers have reached agreement to sign attacker after breakthrough in talks
West Ham are close to completing a deal for Ajax attacker Mohammed Kudus according to renowed journalist Fabrizio Romano.
All parties involved are increasing confident the Hammers third bid will be accepted. It is understood Ajax have accepted the offer of £35m plus add-ons.
West Ham had initially been offering to pay the Dutch side over a five years. The Hammers have now put forward a bid that is far more enticing for Ajax. Included in the deal is a 10% sell-on clause in the agreement.
The Hammers have apparently bid €41million plus €3million in add-ons (£35million + £2.56million). In addition, the deal that would include a 10 percent sell-on clause, all of which Ajax are prepared to accept.
Fabrizio Romano, taking to Twitter, has now provided an update of his own on Kudus to West Ham.
Furthermore, personal terms are reportedly in place for Kudus to sign a five-year deal with the option of a sixth.
There had been speculation that agents fees were hindering the deal, but all involved now seem happy with the arrangement.
The player will have to be signed and registered before noon Friday, in order to be eligible to play against Brighton.
