Nottingham Forest’s season is now just a matter of days away from getting up and running when Bournemouth pay a visit to the City Ground.

Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side are one of the few Premier League clubs who have really made an impression in the market this summer. Evangelos Marinakis has already handed the Forest boss with six signings but there is room for more arrivals over the coming weeks.

Although the season is just days away, Forest have until the end of the month to bring in any further recruits. And it does seem as if the Reds are keen to bring in more players to really bolster Nuno’s chances for the upcoming campaign.

On Tuesday morning, Fabrizio Romano shared an update on just how close signing number seven could now be. As has often been the case since earning promotion to the top flight, it has been a busy summer of transfer business at the City Ground.

The Reds have been able to do the majority of their business early on in the window allowing their signings plenty of time to settle. However, despite being extremely active in the market, Forest are still looking to add more players to their squad this summer.

And it seems as if signing number seven is now closing in on his move to Forest.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Talleres manager has now confirmed Ramon Sosa has made the decision to leave the club. His new adventure will take place in the Premier League after the Paraguayan really forced a move away from the Argentine club.

It is claimed a deal between the two sides is now almost complete with the fee believed to be worth in the region of £11m.

Only the formal steps are needing to be ticked off with Forest closing in on a ‘Here We Go’ from the Italian journalist. It has been a frustrating saga for the Paraguayan winger who has really been made to work for this potential move to the City Ground.

Sosa rebelled against Talleres training last week as he wanted to join Forest which has seemingly resulted in the player getting his move.

The Argentine club’s president has previously been vocal about not letting Sosa leave this summer. However, it would appear his arm has been twisted in the negotiations with the player refusing to participate in Talleres training.

Forest fans will be hoping the player’s effort in making this move happen is worth it when he lands in England.
