CONFIRMED: Fabrizio Romano confirms Everton have reached €30m agreement to sign Portuguese striker, medical booked for Sunday
Everton have agreed a deal with Udinese for Portuguese striker Beto and have now reportedly started to set up his medicals.
Various reports in Italy yesterday suggested that the Toffees had agreed a deal worth around €30-35m including add-ons for the 25-year-old forward, who shined last season for Udinese, scoring 10 goals in 33 Serie A appearances.
Everton are in a tough spot due to their mismanagement and are in a desperate need of goals, having failed to score in either of their three opening games against Fulham , Aston Villa and Wolves.
As highlighted by Fabrizio Romano, Everton have reached a total agreement with Udinese for Beto and are planning for him to undergo his medicals on Sunday, assuming everything goes to plan.
The Premier League side have already agreed contract terms with the 25-year-old Portuguese striker and the final details are now being completed.
Beto scored 22 goals and provided three assists in 65 total appearances for Udinese since his arrival from Portimonense in August 2021.
