“Thanks for the cup but it’s time to go, Two points dropped due to his negative tactics” – West Ham fans react to B/mouth draw as they blame David Moyes tactics for dropped points
Not that much has changed in the 65 days which have elapsed since West Ham’s famous night in Prague, where they claimed their first piece of silverware for 43 years.
It was late on that June night against Fiorentina that Jarrod Bowen wrote his name into folklore by scoring a late winner to take Hammers to Europa Conference League glory.
Two months on and Bowen was back at it again, his goal helping to lift some of the doom and gloom around the club following the departure of talismanic midfielder Declan Rice.
It was a strike of the highest order from Bowen, who curled the ball from outside of the area past Neto in the Bournemouth goal. The West Ham man had no right to beat the Cherries’ goalkeeper from that distance but such was the accuracy and pace of Bowen’s strike that it nestled high into the left-hand side of the goal.
But yet that goal proved to be temporary relief for the Hammers with Dominic Solanke’s late strike salvaging a point for Bournemouth, who got off to an otherwise inauspicious start under new boss Andoni Iraola.
West Ham fans have now taken to social media to react to the draw as majority of the fans blamed David Moyes negative tactics for the draw.
