“Sell the club and f*** off home”- Phil Hay supports Leeds fans as they call for Andrea Radrizzani to sell the club after PL relegation

Leeds fans tell Radrizzani to leave amidst Premier League relegation and Sampdoria takeover

The language was colourful to say the least when Leeds United supporters started chants for majority shareholder Andrea Radrizzani to leave the club during their 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur on the final day of Premier League fixtures on Sunday afternoon.

Choruses of ‘sell the club, and f*** off home,’ began to ring out around Elland Road after Leeds conceded the first goal against the North Londoners, having needed a win and for other results elsewhere to go their way if they were to remain in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old executive was not in attendance at the stadium to hear the chants first hand.

Radrizzani had insisted at the beginning of the 2022-23 season that it would be “impossible” for Leeds to be relegated from the Premier League, having avoided the drop against Brentford on the final day of last season.

However, current manager Sam Allardyce, admitted on Saturday, that the Leeds Chairman was “hugely disappointed” with the team’s plight on the pitch this year.

Elsewhere, Radrizzani also agreed a deal over the weekend along with business partner Matteo Manfredi, to take over at Sampdoria after the Blucerchiati were relegated from Serie A a few weeks ago.

His future involvement with Leeds, however, is not looking particularly welcomed from the supporters in West Yorkshire.
