Exclusive: David Moyes eyeing summer move to sign highly rated Arsenal striker who has scored 20 goals this season following uncertainty over Scamacca’s future
According to Football Transfers, West Ham are looking to sign a new striker in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Moyes is a fan of Arsenal striker Balogun, who is on loan at Reims at the moment.
Football Transfers have added that a move for the 21-year-old depends on whether or not Moyes is at the Hammers beyond the end of the season.
In our view, West Ham United could be able to sign Folarin Balogun from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Now, a permanent deal may not be possible, as Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta could decide to see how the striker does in the Premier League.
After all, Balogun is only 21 now and he is doing extremely well at Reims in France
The striker has made 31 starts and three substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Reims this season. Balogun has scored 19 goals and given two assists in those matches.
A loan move to West Ham could happen. It would allow Arsenal to see how the striker does in the Premier League while playing for a big club.
A loan deal would also remove any concerns that the Hammers may have over spending big on a 21-year-old.
