Crystal Palace fans have been having their say on midfielder Daichi Kamada, who continues to struggle for the Eagles.

Daichi Kamada joined Crystal Palace during the summer but it has been a slow start to life at Selhurst Park for the exciting attacking midfielder.

Palace suffered a damaging 2-1 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park as Dwight McNeil netted twice for the Toffees and the pressure seems to be building on Oliver Glasner. The concerns around Daichi Kamada are surely beginning to grow now as the attacking midfielder continues to struggle.

During the first half, Marc Guehi gave Palace the lead and the South London club were firmly on top in the first 45 minutes at Goodison Park. However, as the game progressed, Kamada began to give the ball away and Palace as a team were struggling to deal with the pressure brought on from the home side.

“Kamada isn’t capable of playing in the Premier League,” one fan perhaps strongly said whilst another said: “He can’t pass the ball forward.”

One fan suggested trying to replace Michael Olise with Kamada was the wrong decision, he said: “I still can’t believe we tried to replace Michael Olise with Kamada.”

Kamada is not good enough to play in midfield,” another said and another concerned fan said: “He’s completely out of his depth.”

A sixth fan was critical of the club for going with the cheap option in the summer: “Pathetic this is what we get for Replacing Olise with Kamada because he’s the cheap option. Joke.”

Glasner still rates Kamada highly according to reports earlier this week and fans may well have to be patient with the attacking midfielder.

Palace fans were unhappy with Kamada’s performance against Queens Park Rangers and it appears that the Japanese international is struggling to prove himself in the Premier League.

Against Everton, Kamada lost the ball 7 times, completed 85 percent of his passes and made just one key pass. Kamada has to improve sooner rather than later with Palace needing creative impetus following Olise’s departure to Bayern Munich last summer.
